The 111-acre Forward Innovation Center East property was once home to a 2.1 million SF stamping plant for Ford Motor Company. The plan for the site is to develop it as a modern industrial business park, catering to tenants in light manufacturing, logistics, distribution, and research and development.
The first new building in the new development, this single-story multi-tenant industrial building was designed with a 32’ interior clear height and has tilt-up concrete panel exterior walls with an interior steel frame and a flat roof. The facility features 26 dock doors with 50x50 bay spacing.
DiGeronimo Development was a developer on the project and in addition to IC’s Design-Build services, our Special Projects Group was responsible for the general trades package, while Independence Excavating performed the demolition, earthwork, and utilities.
Our team is ready to show you how being built different helps us build better for you.
