Located on the site of Swagelok’s existing headquarters and manufacturing facility, the project encompassed demolition of a 1-story, 15,000 SF office building to be replaced by a 3-story, 126,195 SF facility that features an exterior envelope composed of storefront, metal panel, and curtainwall systems to reflect the company’s long history of precision metal machining.
The new facility features a variety of collaborative spaces interspersed with focus spaces including private offices and numerous enclave rooms, all while providing ample access to natural light for all building occupants. Conferencing technology that integrates seamlessly with the architecture was a critical component, as was providing sufficient infrastructure for future growth.
Amenities include designated wellness rooms and an outdoor rooftop patio.
A Customer Welcome and Innovation Center on the first floor caters to international visitors and prospective clients while showcasing the client’s focus on providing solutions versus supplying components.
The project also included the renovation of 46,300 SF of space within the adjacent high bay manufacturing plant (which remained operational throughout construction) and an enclosed executive parking garage.
