Summary Back to Top

This transformative project is the first step in the University’s vision to revitalize the gateway to its campus. The mixed-use retail and residential complex will enhance the student experience, add modern student living accommodations, and provide vibrant retail options for the community.

Standing five stories tall, the Gateway North Development will feature retail on the first floor, including a specialty grocer and space for a restaurant, with student living accommodations located above.

The student housing portion will accommodate 351 students in 96 residential units, offering two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartments for the University’s juniors and seniors.

The 27,940 SF of retail space is envisioned as a hub for JCU students and the greater University Heights community.
