This project was completed as part of a system-wide investment involving new construction, renovation, and site work at multiple branches throughout Geauga County, for which Independence Construction was the CM at Risk.
In addition to providing the community with all that a traditional library has to offer, the new Bainbridge branch is intended to serve as a community center, with multiple meeting rooms, a unique makerspace, and two outdoor patios. Large seating areas with sectionals built into the floors and matching sets of tables and chairs throughout the space provide patrons with a lounge-like feel,while the periodicals room features a gas fireplace that changes color when in use.
