This new library branch is a two-story building featuring browseable collections, quiet spaces, and areas for collaboration and innovation.
The main floor features a vaulted, double-height space featuring a grand fireplace, a vended café, various types of seating, public computers, a maker space, and access to a covered outdoor seating area. Large windows in the children’s area, young adult spaces, and meeting rooms provide beautiful views to the wooded area along Cahoon Creek.
An ornamental stair and elevator provide access to the second floor’s cozy reading loft with double-sided fireplace, circular quiet reading room, balcony side study tables overlooking the ground floor. Adjacent to the reading loft is access to the rooftop patio highlighting a living roof and elevated views of the surrounding park.
Exterior materials such as horizontal lap siding, a stone perimeter base and fireplace, shake siding accents on the circular turret, and a standing seam metal roof reinforce the Bay Village vernacular.
Our team is ready to show you how being built different helps us build better for you.
