After a 7-year process to determine the best way to achieve a state-of-the-art facility for the Browns – including renovating the existing stadium and exploring multiple sites for a new stadium – Haslam Sports Group has announced it plans to build a new enclosed stadium in the Cleveland suburb of Brook Park.
The NFL team’s owners found the Brook Park site to be the most compelling option for a new stadium for several reasons: its central location for the regional fan base, its proximity to downtown, the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority train line and Cleveland Hopkins Airport, and its strong existing infrastructure. At 176 acres, the site has ample room for the planned stadium and a mixed-use entertainment district with ample parking.
While design is ongoing, the enclosed stadium concept is integral to the owner’s vision of a venue that can attract and accommodate large-scale events and year-round activities.
Seating capacity is planned for approximately 65,000, but will be able to be configured to accommodate a variety of events (concerts, basketball games, etc.). Current plans call for upwards of 160+ suites, club seating, and of course, space for the Dawg Pound.
Our team is ready to show you how being built different helps us build better for you.
