With a desire to grow its membership and emphasize its family-friendly focus, Shaker Heights Country Club set out to modernize its century-old clubhouse, updating its main dining space and women’s locker rooms, adding family changing rooms, and enhancing other spaces.
A major focus of the renovation was the upstairs dining space. Overlooking the golf course and the pool complex, the space now features a new open-concept restaurant with a 28-seat bar and private wine room, complemented by modern finishes and furnishings.
The women’s locker room – which hadn’t been updated for decades – also got a refresh, including new restrooms, showers, a sauna, and a Luna Lift for enhanced accessibility.
The west porch, which overlooks the golf course, was rebuilt for nearly three-season use, and exterior improvements, including façade enhancements and minor site work will elevate the club’s curb appeal and functionality.
In addition to IC’s CMR services, our Special Projects Group performed the selective demolition, interior drywall & ceilings, rough & finish carpentry, and general requirements packages on the project.
Our team is ready to show you how being built different helps us build better for you.
